Sport seats vs power ventilated regular
So, still hunting for a 997 cab. Right now I am looking at 2 similar cars. One has standard leather with ventilated power seats. The other has sport seats - not power seats. Is getting leather, manual sport seats worth it in exchange for no power, standard learher and no ventilation?
I will fit fine in sport seats, so that is not an issue.

Power ventilated seats are nice. If you find the comfort level of the sports seat acceptable over the long run then the only choice you have is to select the best car, condition, price.

How bad would black, standard leather non-ventilated be? Does it get too hot? There is one car with that as well.

Ventliated seats in a cab would be nice. Mine are black and work nicely in hot weather. ( with light clothing )
In the long run I'm not sure how the ventilated seats will wear. With all the perforations the leather may have a tendancy no to be as durable as a standard leather seat. Time will tell.
Ventilated seats are a nice option, especially in a cab.
Standard 4yr warranty, so you'll have years to try em out !
Nice postion to be in !
Good Luck

I've had both and prefer the sport seats in my GTS. I like the fact that I can grab a lever and slide my sport seat all the way back in no time when getting out of the car.

How about on resale - partial leather vs. leather sport seats? I wish it had full leather, but I cannot be too picky looking for deals on remaning 997 inventory.

I think full leather is always better for resale, and I don't see sport seats as an impediment to resale at all, probably a plus.
