Congrats! I did the same a few months ago and feel exactly as you described. I went from an 07' 6 speed to a 09' PDK with Sport Chrono. Hard to find non-S with Sport Chrono. The PCM is night and day. I had the Denison ipod connector in the 07 and hated it.
The seating position seems so much better in the 09'. Seems lower to me and I can finally get the seating position and mirrors set up similar to my 993. The 993 has one of the best driving postions of any Porsche ever made and I never could get close to duplicating that in the 07. Weird I know, but it felt like I always had blind spots in the 997.1
The 997.2 seating and mirror positions are near perfect. I intended to stay in this .2 varient for a while.
