Blown 70 amp current limiter

Just replaced a 70 amp limiter under the right foot well.
had no back up lights and no right side turn signals
Has anyone else had such a problem and what do you think caused it??

to blow 70amp you need a short circuit in the starter area imho. nothing else can get so much amp, most wires simply aren`t thick enough to transfer such amperage.
