I pulled the trigger tonight on a gorgeous CPO 2007 Atlas Gray/Black Carrera S. I love the spec (no full leather, manual sport seats, nav, manual trans) and the price was right. If the deal goes through (you never know when financing until the bank agrees to loan the money), I'll post a link and pics. It'll get shipped to me next week some time...

I had a previous 2006 C2S and a 2009 C4S - sold the C2S for an RS4, sold the C4S for our new home (and I hated PDK). I had been looking at 993s, but it was hard to find the right spec, and for nearly the same money as the really good 993s, I'll get a 997 that's right up my alley. Big thanks to my wife for finally letting me make a deal.

YT - Thanks for the compliment. Yeah - good catch. I didn't notice it myself until I got more pics from the dealer. It's an OEM GT3 front lip. I was going to have them take it off, but I like the way it looks on there after seeing more pics. I'll post a bunch when it arrives.

Funny, I bought my first 2006 Carerra S 18K mileage loaded, and went out and bought a 2012 Hundai same week. Switched from the Honda, long drive to work every day. It sure feels better when driving the Hundai knowing I have my 911S at home. Life is good!
