The tips are really great quality and Nello/MaxSpeed MotorSports was also great to deal with. If you have a non-S they will provide you with the adaptor sleeves for perfect fitment.

definitely don't powder coat. Under extreme heat, my original black powder coat literally disintegrated into fine white powder, like my tips were snorting cocaine.

Looks great.
I have similar ones, ceramic powder coated in gloss black that I bought from design911. Just had to use the stock ring adapters because within those supplied the bigger one was too large and others too small...
If powdercoating the stock ones, I would only go with sanding and ceramic coating - way less risky
