Just my .o2 $ but to clean the rims I would use a product from Sonax. You can get it from Detailers Domain ( happens to b a site sponsor) Use a good brush and you can use a normal garden hose providing you have about 80psi.....

And to make life a bit easier.... Cleaning maintenance is really helpful. If you clean once a week you will make life a whole lot easier....

I've been using Kranzle on all my four cars (for the past 4 years) along with sonax and have been very very pleased. Kranzle is not cheap ($900.00) and your car is not cheap either.
