powerwash to clean wheels?

Just my .o2 $ but to clean the rims I would use a product from Sonax. You can get it from Detailers Domain ( happens to b a site sponsor) Use a good brush and you can use a normal garden hose providing you have about 80psi.....
And to make life a bit easier.... Cleaning maintenance is really helpful. If you clean once a week you will make life a whole lot easier....
