Default Spark Plug Procedure

Has anyone tried replacing there spark plugs, DIY?

How difficult as far as accessibility etc. I've changed on other vehicles w/out having to remove the engine

I have a 2006 Carrera S. I would like to change every 15-20K, just because! $60.00 in parts is no big deal, but it sure feels good once complete.

You can find a procedure here or on other sites. It will take longer to remove the last two plugs then the first 4. I was helping my mechanic with special small and flexible drivers. Took 1.5 hours. Some guys remove mufflers for better access. Keep in mind that typically at least one or two coils would end up cracking every 4 years so I would keep a few spares (made by Beru for $40-$60/ps)

Here's a DIY I wrote up last year https://rennlist.com/forums/8634392-post1.html

Easy after the 1st go at it. No need to remove muffler if you have plenty of extension/flex drivers as kisik indicate. Well worth the savings - some stealership want $1,100.
