Who enjoys turning their car off?
So I'm still a new to Porsche owner, just over a month now. Still enjoying every aspect of the car and discovering new things. Since day one I've noticed the way the car turns off and this week have come to the realization I enjoy that. It's hard to describe, but I really like the feel of the car at idle, the vibes, the rumbles, the sound of the engine...and then with a short turn its all steady, silent, quiet. Soooo cool! To me, it doesn't feel like any other car I've turned off (though haven't driven anything of this calibre (Honda, Acura, VW, BMW, Nissan, Jag, take a pick from rental fleets))
Anybody else feel the same way or is it just me?

I know what you mean. Sometimes I just sit in after it's turned off and take in the smell of the leather. Nice. Then when I open the door I smell rubber, oil, and clutch - racing car smells. Dig it! I wonder what my dogs smell?

Automotive Conjugal Visits
Waiting at LAX for my flight back in an hour...
this thread. I was fine until reminded of my separation anxiety. 1,238 fly miles to go for my next visit... with the car - of course. This is my routine every week or so.

the other women
Well... the family, the wife, the boys, the dog... and the "mistress". Some resort to liquor, drugs, other women... my mistress is a red on black C2S. I suspect that many on RL have this affliction. I'm not a pilot but commute via American Airlines and live at Marriot so look forward to ground speed whenever possible with my C2S.
