Let's hear some of the names you guys have given to your 997.

Then tell us how you came up with the name or what it means to you.


I'll start. I named my car - "Beetlejuice".

Why? It has double meaning to me.

1) All 911's have a bit of the VW Beetle DNA deep down inside. A bit of the "Beetlejuice" so to speak.

2) The crazy Riviera Blue ext. color. A bit wild and crazy like Michael Keaton's character in Beetlejuice, the movie.

We adopted the first owner's name of "Brownie", although my buddies call it "Turd".
Macadamia with Cocoa interior. I kind of like "Turd" better. I drive the **** out of it

Zeus... after the Greek God of Thunder and Lightning. It seemed to fit perfectly on seeng his yellow lightening-bolt brake calipers and hearing his engine rumble. He is a HE.

I'm still trying to come up with a name for my tool chest.

No name for my 911, but I do have a name for my Panamera.

At first I just called it the battleship, and then J Lo for a little while. (The car does have a big rear, don't you know!)

Finally I came up with "Hipper." That was a German battleship during WW II, and just seemed totally appropriate. It's the first I've ever named, but it just seemed to fit.
