Default Help! There's a monster in my garage!

ROAR!

My car was ready a few days early so I took delivery today... in the rain! The drive home in the downpour was nerve-wracking to say the least. This is my first Porsche and I've never explored its limits, let alone driven one in the rain. We made it home with zero issues.

2006 Carrera S - 6 Speed - Atlas Gray - Black/Stone Gray two-tone full leather - Sport exhaust - Carrera Classic wheels - Sport shifter - Sport seats - Sport Chrono - Heated seats - Auto-dimming mirrors - 20,000 miles - CPO through March 2014

Here are some more pics from delivery and at home. Looks like Basalt Black in the overcast light, right?:

Thanks to everyone here for your patient answers to my newbie questions. I wouldn't have found this beast without you!

Lovely. Good luck. Btw, contrary to popular belief they do not melt in the rain

Lovely car. Love the Classic Rims. You think it's a monster in the garage, wait until, if you are so inclined, you get it on the track. Just two suggestions, Clear side markers and TechArt Exhaust tips, particularly the latter with the classy Atlas Gray color will make the rear end POP (as if it really needs to though).

Congrats!!!

Thanks all. I keep looking for excuses to go into the garage for stuff. Took my 4 year-old out for a spin before bedtime. What a blast!

Hey! We have a winner! Who had "post #10" in the clear-side-markers pool?

I'll be ordering up the markers soon. Thanks for the suggestion. I think I'm going to stay stock with the exhaust tips. I'll polish them up and they'll look great!

Very nice! I'm surprised how few cars you see with 2-tone leather, it looks great and must reduce the windshield glare from a lighter interior.
