I am sure I could have done better but I wanted it too bad. No regrets, I am loving my first p-car. In fact, I can't get the grin off my face

Interestingly enough, guys, two emails to my salesperson at Stevens Creek Porsche - the guy who sold me my last two cars no less - have gone unanswered since Wednesday...

I think I'll try other dealers.

Not to detour this thread but, I bought my first 911 from Steven's Creek, they were not terribly interested in selling me my second, so I went with Porsche of DTLA. Kinda weird.

If I had the bones, I would snag another GTS as a spare.....especially after driving a 991........

Yeah, I'm minded to go elsewhere... Some of the other Bay Area dealers do seem to have more inventory. Stevens Creek is pretty close to my office so it makes servicing etc a little easier but I thunk I may well look at other dealers this time around.

Carlsen is walking distance from my office in Menlo, but I get my car serviced in Fremont.....won't air reason in public....PM if interested.

DTLA Porsche might be worth lookin at- they move a lot of metal, they gave me a very good deal over the phone on my special order GTS with no hassles. Flew down there and drove it back.

Bigger difference in appearance than you might think. http://www.bumperplugs.com/products.html
Yum. Ordered along with some door lock covers. Thanks for the tip!

Same here in Vancouver. GTS4's in the 140 - 150k range. Am looking at an 2011 C4S, 3300 kms, MT, sport chassis, standard leather, etc. Asking 112,900 with CPO. Seems a bit high but prices seem to be holding up here.

Stop whining. ; )

From my experience you should be able to shave 10k to 14k off a new 997 but I imagine they will all be gone soon.

Funny enough.. I emailed my dealer in the US at Fleminton Porsche in NJ... No response... And I've purchased 2 Porsche's from him..

In Canada... Prices have not dropped.. Will see with the pressure of 991 units quota .?. That can quickly change... Its this time when dealers release products to replace a previous models and end up cannibalising their own market..and compete against their own..

We see this more south of our border....

My wife is torn between the new Boxste at 0% discount...and I think a a 2009-2010 slightly used 997 S cab maybe the way with the pricing domino effect..

Stead Porsche in Walnut Creek has two lovely 2012 C4 GTS vehicles on the showroom floor and they will negotiate.
