Fantastic post Blake. Kisik I was under the impression that we need to keep it on the lower gears. Great points on the advice. It's amazing how my C4S handles week after week in blizzard like driving conditions. It alwaseems to see some ordinary cars speed up and down during such poor driving conditions. I have Michelin PA2 and so far I have been very happy with them on some very adverse winter weather.

great advice in this thread! I used to daily drive my '04 M3 Cab in Toronto, and no problems in their heavy winters (back in '07-'08). I also drove through a blizzard from Toronto to DC, through ski country in PA (was following the shortest route, lol, and not the fastest, from Buffalo-->Erie-->Pittsburg-->MD-->DC). Anyway, lots of stop signs and turns on unplowed snow and the key was to let traction control do its thing. Many times I could feel the tail wanting to slip away but then traction control kicks in, combined with LSD, it was an awesome anti-slip combo for the snow. I was running run-flat Dunlop Wintersport 3D's at the time.

4 good snow tires and common sense will get you through 99% of all driving situations. Nice to see the 911 in the snow.
