Default Looks like I am back in business...

After trying to buy a 2007 997 S from Porsche of Colorado Springs (did not pass PPI), it looks like I have found the right car at Porsche of San Diego.

I had a PPI done by Black Forest Automotive... they were very helpful, DME, compression test, the whole shooting match came out very nice and clean. Hence, I am picking her up on Friday and will drive from San Diego to Denver... should be fun!

Car is a 2007 997 S with the following options:

- Basalt Black Metalic
- 640 - Sport Chrono Package Plus
- M6G - Stone Grey Floor Mats
- 405 - 19" Carrera Classic Wheel
- 670 - Navigation for PCM
- P15 - Power Seat Package
- 446 - Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
- 342 - Heated Front Seats
- 680 - Bose High End Sound Package

Car is a one owner car, serviced by Porsche of San Diego, has 40k miles and is a CPO... can't wait to pick her up and drive her back! Here are some pics:

Beautiful car, Dutchie! Make sure they give you a new rear emblem before you pick it up. Your "C" is broken off!

Nice car, those are my favorite wheels. I'm not sure from the pic looks like there's no wheel Caps with Colored Crest, just the regular ones.

Enjoy the trip!

I had noticed that as well... I actually like the regular ones better than the colored ones... too much bling for me.

Looks beautiful! Enjoy the drive home.

The one in Co Springs, was that the blue one? What happened with PPI?

NICE....
I Like the wheels, look easy to clean, my "lobsters" are a B***H, takes longer to clean the wheels than wash the car!

Great looking car! Make sure you post a road trip report when you get back - interested to know what route you choose given the changeable weather this time of year. Have fun!

There was a leak around the RMS... guy who did PPI said that it could obviously be a RMS failure, but that there could be an IMS issue as well.

I asked the dealer to handle this and replace RMS and make sure there wasn't an IMS issue. Dealer wasn't willing to do that, so I walked.

Interesting thing is that the dealer doesn't show the car for sale anymore, so I guess they took it to auction and let another person deal with it.
