Default Ag ruger offset opinion

These wheels look great but are offered only with offset of 45 for the front and 52 for the back. These wheels are really very tempting but these offsets seem to aggressive for me. Can we share opinions on this matter? 45 is like having 11mm spacers in front and 14mm spacers for the rear!!

You won't be happy with those offsets.

I saw a Carrera with BBS CH-Rs installed. 56 OS in the rear and the tire and rim were sticking out past the fenders. It wasn't terrible, but any more and it would be.

Aren't the Rugers available with more offset than what you've posted?

thinking of 50 for front the 60 for the rear but they dont have it its like having 7mm spacers on all four sides like what i have now. i really think that my current set up is just right but i want a new look. the HRE P40's are my best bet but looking for a 2nd hand set. new ones are over budget. if only the rugers had a less aggressive offset i would take them now!

have you seen them in person? they don't look sticking out that much to me... they look more like a 5mm or 7 mm spacers. the original offset for OEM wheels is really tuck inside the fender, so, is not like you are starting with a flush OEM look and adding 14 mm to that at the rears...

FWIW, Victor Wheels Innsbruck look similar to the Rugers; may want to look up the offsets they offer.

rick - I think your incorrect on front offset because your comparing 8" wide oem wheels to 8.5" aftermarket wheels, meaning 45 offset on aftermarket is equivalent to ~50 on OEM....so effectively its like having a 7mm spacer on an oem rim....hope that makes sense.

Overall, I think ag ruger offsets are very good providing your car is lowered (I think they look wrong at stock height). good luck!

hi tito, always though that the carrera s II wheels had 8.5 inches in front too. will have to verify that again i might be wrong. if that should be the case then all is welland good for the front which probably expalins why people say no rubbing. however im pretty sure my rears are 11 inches isnt it? so how do i reconcile my rear which actually is the pressing concern. hope we can shed more light. thanks brother
