Thanks, do GTA members get together at all for events, drives etc? I have poked around the Canada section here, looks like some do get together in the summer.

It's the saggy rear that makes those hips look even wider than the bulbous 991 which reminds me of the 928.

Amazing ride and an even more amazing story. Thanks for sharing with us your piece of joy!
PSE or some combination of exhaust will hopefully come this summer.

Definitely agree, the sun was beating right down. Would also like to take some better full interior shots. Do you have the natural leather? Recommend anything for cleaning/protecting it?

I prefer the feel and resistance of the clutch on the two C4S's I drove. The Turbo was plenty fun to punch at any speed, you really feel it throw you back. I think what really did it for me in choosing the C4S was the traditional look, reminds me of the 993 which I really like. Also with the 991 it seems that they are taking a slow departure from the traditional proportions, I wanted to get a good example of something that I will hang on to that stays truer to tradition. As well this one was nicely optioned to be just the right amount of different to me. The Turbo was just straying a little too far for my first 911 in the appearance dpt. That being said, it'd be a fun second addition or a GT3.

Well put. My next 911 will be a late model 997.2 for that same reason. Your car looks fantastic btw. Basalt black may be my favorite color but it's hard to find, especially on a C4S. Never saw one with red interior but it really works. Heck of a car for your first 911

Congrats on a great car! Now I'm even more pumped...later today I pick up my new 2011 C4S, giving up my 2008 C4S. 997.2 feels like a whole different car. I'll get pics up this weekend on a new thread.

I love it, especially the deviated carpet. That is the first carbon wheel I love, usually don't like them. Any idea on the sticker price on this car? it is loaded up with some pricey options.

I need to drive a C4S sometime. I've had Audi's for years but didn't know if I'd like the awd on a Porsche. I bet the thing corners like a beast.

I, alas, do not have the natural leather but the regular leather and use the English Auto Glym Leather Cleaner and Conditioner that you can pick up from the Porsche dealership or Canadian Tire. It's excellent along with the Auto wash. Check it out. Great smell.

I am envious! I looked so hard for red interior with black paint and finally gave up. Beautiful combo congratulations
