So i just had my nav-tv unit installed and I am using an Iphone4S. Well to charge it Nav TV needs this little black power adapted for the 4s. Well when i use the adapter there is a slight noise... But no adapter and the noise is gone. Do others have a similar issue or is this just a bad adapter?

 

By "noise" i am guessing you means a "wine" match engine revs? Either why check or change your ground connection.

 

I have no whine from having my bluetooth interfaced iPhone 4S going thru the NAV-TV Tooki system.

 

Thanks guys. It's not the ground as when I use the white iPhone cord it is clear. It is when I use the black power adapter needed to charge the iPhone 4s it a "whine"/ interference sound. Hitting the gas does not change the noise. Dan do you have the power adapter?

 

i have the black iPhone power converter. I plug it into the 12VDC source inside the central armrest. Never an interference sound.

You suggest an interference issue?

 

I'll do you one better. I went through two Nav-TVs that both eventually crapped out and stopped working. One faulty unit I chalk up to bad luck. Two - the product sucks. Ripped it out and redid the whole head unit and amp. Never looked back. Good luck.
