Very nice...one of my "projects" when I can ever get one home to settle down into! Ah the soilders/airman's life! LOL

Great garage Bruce. Enjoy. My buddy lives in Cary also...now I see why her retired from flying fighters and now flies FedEx from there! Enjoy her! Beautiful home.

The home has 'his and hers' garages. One is a two stall the other a single.

Yip, not cheap, cabinets to go in next month.

Thanks, I meet with a group of Porsche buddies for coffee each Saturday. There is a Ken Reese that flies rubber dog poop out of Hong Kong with Fedex, ex Navy, know him?

Bruce:

What kind of cabinets are you going with?

They started my floor yesterday (a week late). Did the grinding and patching. Once the floor goes down, they'll install Redline Garagegear cabinets.

If my floor looks half as good as yours, I will be pleased!

Bruce,

thanks for posting pics of your garage - it looks great. I am starting a new home as well and have been looking for a good solution to put on the garage floor(before we move in). I like all the comments about durability and the price sounds good given the warranty.

i look forward to your pictures with cabinets - I called PG in Houston and they will come out for a quote once we get to sheetrock stage.

JD911,

Thanks for the alternative cabinet idea. I like the Lifetime warranty on these but will need to review it more. If you would be willing, pics would be appreciated. the pics on Redline site are not high resolution.

Bruce:

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I thought everyone might be interested to see the process in action:

Two of three bays have been chip coated. Third bay has primer coat.

See if you friend knows Wayne Koide--also a flyer for Fedex. We used to fly together in the USAF--heavies.

Thanks for including the process photos. There are few paints out that that can handle the heat and scrubbing of aircraft tires, yet we had hangers with the most gorgeous painted white floors that seemed to hold up nicely.

I have engaged California Closets to install some steel cabinets and also asked PG to quote on their ORG cabinets. Either way I'm going the professional installer way, rather than Home Depot stuff off the shelf.

Thanks Dave, loving them!
PS I'd love a 991 S in Maritime with PCCB's! But there is a large $$$ delta to my 997.

Bruce that is an awesome look in your garage. The Maritime 997 looks dramatic sitting in the garage and it must be nice to just hang out and stare at it sitting there, although probably not nearly as fun as driving it.

When we finally make it to Cary I will have to get the contact information for the Premier guys you used. My wife already knows this will be a mandatory upgrade on our home.
