Would you buy a seat that looked like this...

... if it were attached to a C2S 200 miles from home?
It's a sand beige, supple leather, electrically adjustable seat with about 30K miles of seat time. I'm always suspect of sand beige in that it gets dirty really easily. In particular, check out the lower right corner and lower backrest of this one. The rest of the car is pretty pristine. How bad do you think that driver's seat is? Would you buy it?
Thanks in advance...

You have essentially two negative issues with that car. First, the sand beige. Way too light to live with for the long haul. Second, the gathered leather simply doesn't hold up well, either, over the long haul. I know Porsche wants to provide variety to buyers, but the gathered leather is always a big mistake. It will always look old before its time.
The high wear areas of the 997 absolutely must be covered in leather. I'm talking about places like the central console, and door panels, and dashes. The slush finish they use is total crap and if you had a relatively rough previous owner the car will look way older than it is. And that stuff isn't cheap to fix.

Apparently not.
I've been biased toward darker interior colors - looks like it's going to stay that way.
99% of the cars I'm finding that are anywhere near my price range don't have full leather, so I'll probably have to forego the high-end dash, but I hear you on the seats. I'd add to that the shifter and hand brake. The above car, at least, has sycamore wood there...

I agree completely on the supple leather. There may be supple leather seats out there that still look ok with some miles on them, but I've yet to see any myself.

My black supple leather with 60K miles still looks very nice. Does it look like someone has been sitting in the driver's seat? Perhaps just a bit, but there is no real wear or anything that stands out. I'm not really sure what you guys are referring to???

Buy some Lexol Leather Cleaner (orange bottle) and a high quality leather cleaning brush from Detailers Domain. Make a diluted cleaning solution, and clean that driver’s seat. It will look much-much better. You can probably clean the whole interior in about 3-4 hours working carefully and methodically.
Let dry over night.
Spend another 2-3 hours conditioning the leather with Zaino Z10 and put Aerospace 303 Protectant on the plastic and vinyl areas.
I have sand beige full leather in the Boxster. Top is down 99% of the time. After 47,000 (s)miles the interior is still mint.

I would be happy to take that car if the rest of it were good and the price was right. The seats are not horrid, just used.
I mean after all is said and done, your are not buying the car for its perfect seats.
