Be cautious if it is an all wheel drive model as I heard and read the the rolling circumference between the front and rear tires has to be within factory's recommendation 4W system to work and maintained correctly (especially on 997 models).

Not true but the offsets are different. As noted above, the Carrera Sport wheels are 0.5" wider and NB cars so equipped were specced with 305 tires in the rear. The 4S got 305's in the rear for all wheels. This per the 2009 Tequipment catalog (google it). Dave
