a lot of people do not understand that. you really got to travel a bit to get a sense of it all, drink stinky horse fat tea in the mongol yurt, wash your hands in ceremonial blood people spill in your honor in africa, all that stuff later on in life comes from a certain perspective.
there is no right or wrong, it is just all very very different. what works for some cultures simply cannot work for others and it is nobody`s fault. you cannot treat tribal cultures from your usual civilized life perspective, it is not applicable.
and no one can fool this rule. no one can 'enforce' anything or speed up evolution. and any attempt to speed up normal rate of evolution usually does not end up with anything good as it is not us who makes those decisions on when and why stuff happens, no matter how unflattering for us it may sound...

On a more mundane note this is one (of many good reasons) to not purchace a radar detector that mounts on the windshield (or sunvisor) like the V1 or 9500. Not only is it a hassle to remove and replace every time you park your car but if you do get a traffic stop there is no way you are going to talk your way out of it if the cop sees you have a radar detector. Get a stealth one that is not readily visible (your choice).

You got lucky. My comment was prompted by an officer who made these comments on a police forum.
