Default 997 GTS is Benchmark by Which 991 is Compared to: Motor Trend

Guys,

Check out Feb issue of Motor Trend and 991 S test. While the 991 is a Fresh Horse, GTS numbers are respectable in comparison.

Also, at end of article, they suggest the possibility of a 991 GTS.

Have fun drivin

By the end of it's model run we'll no doubt see many 991 variants including a GTS or similar.

Well sure, next will come the 4's, then a Turbo, GT3, GT2, RS's and just before we get the 991.2 they will roll out a GTS, I'm sure I've left out a few, maybe a Speedster or a Sport Classic?

Guys,

I would speculate that the GTS has been a hit, and definately fills the niche between the S and GT3 nicely

- performance car- no comparison to cosmetic specials.

Whatever the case, whatever develops will be interesting!

They'll find a way to mount a duck tail too.

I wonder if my wife would know if I upgraded to a GTS in the same exact color combination As my current C2S including yellow PCCBs? I can always say that I got new wheels.

Shouldn't really be a surprise, since the engine of the 991 is basically a GTS engine, no?

I understand the track time advantage is largely due to the fancy electronic suspension.
