Default New to me 997

When you buy a 'preowned car" there are somtimes "alterations" that the PO has made.
I have a wire connection in the center console rear compartment )the one that opens from the side) that has a mini stereo plug (marked Radio Shack)
I tried to post a pic but it was loo large (and I don't know how to reduce it)
Anyone have an idea what it 'may" be?

Hey X51. You have good taste when you picked out your 997. I love the color combo!

What's an Ipod?
Just kidding, although I don't have one, it seems a lot of trouble to find the songs you want and "download" them to the Ipod, just to have them in the car....then again there is basically nothing that you can listen to on commercial radio but screaming car ads.
We have over 700 c/d's, so we just grab a few of those.....
I put SIRIUS in my 06 BMW X5 by way of a "plug and play" adapter...5 minutres to instal, (cost $150)works 100% through the existing head unit....but PORSCHE has a really screwey system.....and their head unit is just too complicated.....WTF
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Tip/Cab...(well except that the aircooled 911's sounded better) these cars (all of them, Lambo and Ferrari included) sound like an old Chev 6 cylinder(50's to 60's vintage) with a split manifold (dual exhausts to you young un's)
