Was installing my winter wheels tonight, and I noticed something strange. Just in front of the front jack point there was a piece of corrugated tubing sticking out from under the car. Sticking out of a hole that looks like it's supposed to be there

I stuck it back through the hole without thinking, but I did take a pic of the opening I'm talking about. Second pic is the hole in front of the jack point. First pic is me pulling the underbody covering back a bit so you can see the tubing I'm talking about. Can someone tell me what this is??

It looks like a drain pipe. I would bring it out, so that it performs its duty.

It's a drain. Let it hang a bit down forward of the jack point.

OK that makes sense. I assume it is supposed to be sort of flush with the opening. It was sticking out about three inches and looked very strange. I'll see if I can't approximate it with the mouth of the hole.

The factory installation has this drain stick out a few inches, so I would pull it out a little further than flush and you're good to go.
