Default Radiator Screen on 2010 997.2 C2S w/PDK

I have tried searching the forum and can't find an answer to this specific question: I am looking for an insert to replace the two plastic black pieces on my front bumper (in front of the radiators) that can be used to attach a screen for the two radiators. Can someone plz point me to such a product. I do not have a third, center-mounted radiator on this car. TIA.

Several of us have installed screens behind the black plastic pieces you mention, but I've never heard of anyone actually replacing them. Rennline and FVD are two sources for screens; I know there are others. But I'm surprised that your PDK doesn't have a center radiator - both my previous '09 C2S and my present '11 GTS (both PDK's) have the center radiator. I thought that radiator was standard on all PDK cars.

Thanx, DMoore. I had assumed that my C2S did not have the center rad because my front bumper is not open in the center portion (as it is on both sides where I can clearly see the side radiators). I'll have to get under the car to see if it indeed has a center radiator.

Hmmmm.... on second thought I'm not so sure my '09 C2S PDK had the center radiator. From looking at an old photo, I don't see the opening to the radiator. As I think about it more, I think the center radiator may have been added at some point after the initial production of the PDK. Mine was a launch car, so it was at the very beginning. That might just explain it. I know the 6 speed 997.2s have never had the center radiator, as it's a PDK specific part. I thought the center radiator for PDK's came before 2011, however. Was your '10 made early in the production year? Maybe the radiator was added at some point during '10.

Anyone know why center radiator was introduced for 997.2, was there cooling issues ?

Put one on the track in the summer and the oil will get pretty hot. Think 260-270F.
