Default Summer Tire Storage Question

Does anyone think that the tires (mounted on rims) will flat spot if stored standing upright on the rubber instead of laying flat on the side of the rims? My storage is tight in my garage and the 4 wheels fit best if they are standing upright.

Without the weight of the vehicle, will the tires flat spot just with the weight of the rims?

If you really wanted to be cautious, pump them up to the max pressure listed on the sidewall (probably 44 psi) before storing them.
