Engine making a rattling noise
My 2007 C2S has been making a rattling noise (sounds like a diesel engine at times) especially noticeable at idle. I have scheduled a service visit to my local porsche dealer since it was due for its 40k mile service anyway.
Any advice?

The few times I have stalled I have heard the same dieseling noise Edgy refers to but only for a couple of seconds and only after a stall. It is definitely not normal during normal idling. Hopefully it is just something loose and rattling like a heat shield or something.
