Hmm, despite what Detlev sayd, I think its a fairly down month. 911's I can understand due to the 991. But Panamera's, Cayennes and Boxster/Cayman's were all down. Boxster/Cayman is really low volume. Last year, people thought we may be accelerating out of the recession and their may have been more optimism heading into 2011. 2011 has not lived up to expecations and its been a bumpy year with slow growth and unemployment still high. Plus now with Greece, Europe etc., 2012 being forecast as just an OK year, people arent that optimistic?

2011 was a good year on the manufacturing side of things and next year is looking better. There was a major slowdown through the summer and now companies are scrambling because they put everything on hold when they really shouldn't have.
I think the opportunities are out there if you want them. That includes finding jobs and getting good deals on luxury items.
Back to the numbers, yeah they don't look that good but Porsche is introducing new models next year and I bet many are holding out for them.

More and more of the volume will be in Asia and Middle East. We simply shipped way too many jobs east!
