spacer question, c2s w/sport
Hi all,
Tried to search this but only came up with a couple threads. I'd like to push out my stock 19" turbo II's closer to flush on my 2011 c2s. I've read about a couple setups running 15mm rear/7mm front. I've also read that 7 is not enough on the front. I did see one post where they were running 13mm and stated that 15 is possible in the front. While I'm confident 15MM is the way to go in the rear, what should I do on the fronts? I do plan on tracking the car and it does have the factory PSS so I do not want to encounter any rub and I'm not up for rolling the fenders. Any thoughts?

Race Car
<<<<< my 911 pictured here I ran 7mm front and 15mm rears. Bought from Stuttgart Performance.
Love the stance and I was running H&R springs.

I have 5mm fronts (Porsche OE) and 14mm backs. Looks good to me.. I think with 5's (or 7's) on the fronts look more flush than with just 5's on the rears (which the car came with) so i kept the 5's on the front and moved to 14 rears

Camsporsche, you and i both have Carrera Sport wheels which are 1/2 in wider. So it's quite possible the OP could use >7mm on the fronts.
dwost, if you plan on tracking why not go up to 245's in the front?

Thanks guys, looks like I'll do 7/15. kosmo, I may end up doing that when it's time to replace the rubber but since they are brand new I'll run them as-is for now. I'm sure at some point I'll just spring for track wheel/tires but I have to keep the WAF (wife acceptance factor) in check Spacers will at least give me the stance for the street.

7mm all the way. good looks without upsetting the car's balance. to see if the whhel and body are flush, installed the indoor car cover which snugly fits the car. fender and wheels are really flush. if you use 15mm i think it will extend the wheels faurther than the fenders.

i am talking of the wheels not the tires. tires might be less or more that fenders depending on the width of the tires you install but 7mm makes the wheels flush. and in my opinion beautiful!!!

take note oem only recommends 5mm all over. i was conservative with 7mm but ended up being very happy. wanted to do the same 7/15 after researching and reading. a lot have done the 7/15 combination.
