I have been using M1 0W-40 like thousandths of others. All 3 local shops in Boston recommend Motul 8100 5W-40. Perhaps they have special discount from France.
Best oil is new oil.

Total Quartz Energy 9000 in 5W 40 and Motul 8100 in 0W 40 and 5W 40 weights are also choices.

use whatever is in the official Porsche recommended oil list. if it is a street car - 0-40 will be fine, for track 5w50 is better. to add or not ZDDP additive - decide for yourself. imho it does not hurt.

I use the recommended Mobil 1 0W-40. The 0W- oils provide better lubrication during a cold start up when much of the engine wear is reported to take place.

My vote goes to Mobil 1's 5W50. My recent UOA was excellent. Porsche approved.
