I recently had a bad accident with my 996, may be a total, don't know yet. I paid 34000 in july for it. It was a perfect car with 44000 m. I saw the car below at the dealership where my car is being repaired and can't stop thinking about it. There are allot of hurdles to jump before I can own this car but I want it so bad it hurts. Give nme some words of encoragement to help me be tenacious in my quest to aquire it! (find the money somewhere.) Any suggestions on how a yacht-restorer can make some extra cash?

Buddy, sorry to hear about the accident and glad you're ok.
I will say one thing, if you put your mind to it you can make it happen. As already mentioned, rates are low and loans are fairly easy to get with good credit. Rockland Federal will also match rates with Penfed if you push them, might be another avenue to consider.
Talk to Jeff and ask him to make a deal you can't refuse!
I don't know the yacht busines but I would think this is a busy time of year with all the boats coming out of the water and needing some repair work? Get out their and find some needy boats.

2005 C2 cant be too much more than what you paid for yours. So its not a big jump and rates are low. However, make sure you arent stretching too much when buying a 7 year old car. it will require maintenance. Good luck.

Thanks all for the input. I'm also looking at better gas milege and longer service intervals with 997, and I think it will hold it's value better than 996.
