Used them this weekend with the air conditioning on, in 95 degree weather. Because my back was feeling sore! The seats get really toasty.

Hmmm. I tried them again this morning. Mine get warm but not really toasty. Both sets feel the same though. I have ventilated seats so I wonder if that is impacted it. The seats get warm but not really toasty.

Heated seats on a long drive = back comfort. Wouldn't own a car without 'em.
How they work has no correlation to the car's heater system.

I am wondering if the ventilated seats is why my heated seats dont get that hot. Again, tried them this morning. You can defintely feel that they are on but they dont get really warm. I wonder if its a function of the fact that I also have ventilated seats. Maybe that gets in the way???

Like gota911, my seats get toasty on high. You can definitely feel them especially with winter clothes on. I only use the high setting on really cold winter days. In the fall and spring I only use the low setting because high gets uncomfortably hot. I have ventilated seats.
