Does the heat/blower have to be on for heated seats to work? Noticed they only get hot when I turn the vents on. When the heat is off, the seats don't warm up.

I've never noticed a corollary between these two things either -- granted I only use the seat heaters in the winter, but I've pressed the button by accident and made the seats uncomfortable in the Summer as well.

Here in NE Ohio, where the temp is from below 0 to over 100, I can tell you the heated seats are great!

Something is wrong with drivers side. It gets warm and then cools down. Doesn't remain hot. Anyone else?

Yes you are right. I thought that was the issue but guess not. The drivers side heated seat wasnt getting that hot so I thought there was an issue. Then I also noticed that the passenger side heated seat was not getting that hot either. In my Cayman, felt that the heated seats were much stronger.

Question: In your 997's, when you turn on the heated seats, do yours get really warm?

No heated seats in the Carrera; sport buckets. But the one's in the Cayenne get nice and toasty.

I have the heated seats and appreciate them in all sorts of weather.

Yes, my driver's seat is really toasty on high (two lights on the button) and warm on low (one light). I don't have the ventilated seats.
