Wouldn't painting an existing radiator compromise its ability to exchange heat by putting another layer of material between the fins?
Not trying to be argumentative...just curious.
So, you're saying you've painted yours black and you see no temp difs?

Black bodies are the best absorbers and emmitters of heat, but the insulation properties of the paint itself may or may not be a significant factor. In ye olde days radiators were painted black.

I'm not thermal engineer, but...if you wanted your radiator fins to be black, I'd think you'd want to paint them before the radiator is assembled.

Looks great. My Rennline set just showed up Monday for my 997.2 c2s. Hoping to get them on this weekend if i can get some free time. They do have a slick clip system and require no sealant. I'll post some pics once installed
