assuming a MSRP of $124k , $108 represent ~13% Off. Thats pretty much near invoice, however thats irrelevant. In absence of any trunk money, which i will bet is forthcoming, the dealer's cost will continue to rise on financing cost. He needs to sell it . Separately a standard clearbra is about $700 and Lojack does not cost $4300. In fact tracking devices are somewhat of a joke, as the Pro thief knows how to get around it and these types of cars are on the ship the next day. Frankly I wouldnt want it. I would stand firm.
Things to considers (IMO of course):
1. its a '11
2. '12 are out there
3. the 991 is coming. P will be showing off the car at the reunion soon.
4. the Economy is getting worse

Guys
Your advice and comments are awesome!
Standing firm at $116000 out the door with additional options. I wouldn't want them to take off the clearbra anyways and it doesn't make financial sense either... Stay tuned!

I have a GTS... See signature. I've been tracking PDKSince September 2008 when I had a Carrera S 2009. Zero issues!
I clear bra'd my GTS full front no seams bumper front spoiler mirrors are rear wheel area lower 1/4 panel... From a very expensive top notch place useing the most expensive new Xpel film for $1700

I really don't get it? We're in a double dip recession, I have cash in hand and my offer from all accounts isn't unreasonable but yet the dealer walks away and tells me that may be I should look for a cheaper car that fits within my budget? Wow! Really!?!

Unless you absolutely feel you have to have that particular car, I'd stick to your guns. I wouldn't even offer as much as you did, and would stick to closer to $110k. My insurance agent told me I would be nuts to have a tracking device. He said "that is why you have insurance. Do you really want them to recover your car in Mexico after it has been abused?" Depending on the quality of the clearbra install, they likely paid closer to $1000 for it. I've seen cars the dealers had done and they weren't impressive, because most buyers likely don't know the difference. And the dealer can easily remove the tracking device. That brings their original 108k offer to 109k. Do you happen to be in Orange County?
I've learned to walk when a fair price has been rejected, and another opportunity always arises. It just takes patience.
Good luck.

The dealer is in San Diego (I won't mention their name unless asked by the group), what I like about the car is the sport seats, to be honest I would rather have a white car with black sport seats, nav, bose, chrono, sports suspension and PDK as the wife can't drive a stick. But I thank you all for your support and feedback.
Those that live in Southern California, I would really appreciate your feedback on dealers, I see Walters in Riverside, Newport Beach Porsche and Pacific Porsche in Torrance all have the aforementioned car in their current inventory. Any feedback from those dealers? Also what are they price that you've paid?
Thank you all again for all your feedback!

i dont get it either. Perhaps he should be reminded that the year 2012 is just around a corner and a the 991 (which btw is supposed to be as fast as a gt3) is ready for launch. If the few 1000s isnt important just go ahead but I personally would not considering the back handed INSULT.
