The only solid colors available seem to be black, white, and extreme colors (red and yellow) plus -- and considerable extra cost -- cream. What I would like are a nice solid gray or two, a real dark green (not the absurd metallic not-really-British racing green) and, perhaps, a nice dark brown and/or dark blue.
Am I the only one who is tired of metallic paints?
The gray GTS cab is beautiful (although I would choose another interior color) but I wish there were more "interesting" solid colors, not gray, black or white. Colors!

While my car is painted in a metallic color (Meteor Gray), I would have preferred a solid color. It is a beautiful car and I love it. But....

One more thing, I'd like every color to be protected with a layer of clear coat.

Couldn't have said it better myself... (mine is the "absurd metallic not-really-British Racing Green" Porsche Racing Green... I would have preferred the non-metallic green. Of course Porsche will paint it any color you want.. for an absurd price.

It's not really an absurd price....in fact compared to the special "metallic" colors it's a real bargain. I think mine was $5,500.00 when the special colors are something like $3,500.00. I don't know about you but being able to differentiate my car from everyone else's and see "my" color every day when I drive it is worth 2K!
Perhaps it is time to redirect the focus of this thread from what colors are the best for PTS to what are the best colors that should be available without the PTS process.
