Did I miss something or was this announcement ignored or under commented upon by our community ??
Not as though a "new" 911 is introduced every year, on second thought ....

Jack where ya been hiding? Yeah the 991 was announced and you can go over to see my friend Tom Heinz at Reeves and order one too.

I understand it has been released but the noise or chatter has been underwhelming, to say the least

I don't see a 991 forum in the "table of contents"

We spent months dissecting the rumors, Jack. A new forum opened when the release was imminent: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-221/ It looks like the moderators moved all our previous discussion to that forum.

It is number nine on the list of water-cooled forums, right after the GT2/GT3 forum.

I believe he meant that the 991 link is not in the sidebar. You have to navigate to the list of forums in order for it to be displayed.

With the world's economy in chaos, I don't think there will be too much interest in the 991 and the 997 prices will remain firm for some time.

Hell, I took the car to the Porsche dealer yesterday for repairs and was expeciting to drive a new 991 home...even had my wifes blessing. I thought it was this year (2012) that the 991 was coming out.
I was only one year off.... Hand grenades and horse shoes..... so close
