Made a quick video on my e-brake travel/slack/free-play and how the lever/handle is now not very "tight", feels "sloppy":
Porsche 997.1 parking-brake/e-brake lever

Thanks,

Mine exaclty the same, look the cable are not strong and the car went 10 days ago in Porsche to try to fix it from the tyres, now at 4 click look strong but there is still the lack.

Mine (997.1) was also at my local Porsche Center (Espoo, Finland) last summer and they did the adjustment at the wheels.
Actually, after that visit I have had the slack in the lever/handle I recall my handle had better feeling to it before my visit to Porsche service center...

I actually have center console almost opened at the moment as installing the new Porsche PCCM Plus head-unit.

if you have to console open try to ask.

Look at the spring, probably it has to take the cable, and mine look not… can you check this on yours? Thanks

Reviving this as I also have this immediate slack. When disengaged the brake lever feels floppy. Anyone ever solve this?

Ok, yeah mine still engages just fine, just went kind of floppy today. Weird as it wasn't that way last time I drove!
