Default PTS Riviera Blue GTS (new) unsold in CA

After spending most of Thursday and Friday unsuccessfully trying to convince my daughter to evacuate Manhattan, I spent last night surfing the net looking at unsold 911s. I came across this at Walter Porsche near Riverside:
http://www.waltersporsche.com/new/Po...5235058be2.htm
I contacted dealer and Bob Mcdonald responded almost immediately. Not perfect for me and far away, so I'm posting it here. I would want ventilated seats, painted console and steering wheel controls, but otherwise pretty well optioned, IMO.
No affiliation, of course. Someone should buy this lovely car. I asked if it was a custom order where buyer reneged and he said no, they are known for ordering PTS cars for stock. Apparently arrived last week.
Tell Bob Keadog sent you and send me pics :-)

At the very minimum the aero bits should've been painted.

That's a really nice car. Plus it's a stick, which is how I still prefer my 911s to be. It would me make very happy to own that specific vehicle, but unfortunately my situation will not allow for a new car at this time.

Really like that color for a track car, but not so sure if a daily driver.

Lovely car, but also a good illustration of not paying overmuch attention to advertising. The engine is a "3.6L 6" huh? Not if it's a GTS (and it obviously is) unless I overlooked a change in the product line.

Hope your daughter comes through Irene without regrets for hanging around.

That's a great looking car. Best of luck to all in the Eastern Seaboard.

Thanks. So far, so good. It will be better if they don't have to shut the power off for 3 days.

Love that color on the gts. Love the clear lenses and how the 997.2 rear lights curve up on the bottom inner corners.

I know most of you guys aren't aero fans and that's OK. I'm just sayin' how the pics strike me.

What do you guy's think of the black vs. silver wheels on a Riviera blue 997?

Phil
I like the black wheels better. For me that car is almost perfect. Only the Fuchs style wheels of the Speedster would make it better. Damn, stop posting that pic of the Rivi Blue GTS, it's really tempting!

Definitely black wheels for me. Great looking car. I would pass on the aero kit, but not steering wheel controls, ventilated (leather) seats and painted center consol...
