PTS Riviera Blue GTS (new) unsold in CA
After spending most of Thursday and Friday unsuccessfully trying to convince my daughter to evacuate Manhattan, I spent last night surfing the net looking at unsold 911s. I came across this at Walter Porsche near Riverside:

I contacted dealer and Bob Mcdonald responded almost immediately. Not perfect for me and far away, so I'm posting it here. I would want ventilated seats, painted console and steering wheel controls, but otherwise pretty well optioned, IMO.
No affiliation, of course. Someone should buy this lovely car. I asked if it was a custom order where buyer reneged and he said no, they are known for ordering PTS cars for stock. Apparently arrived last week.
Tell Bob Keadog sent you and send me pics :-)

That's a really nice car. Plus it's a stick, which is how I still prefer my 911s to be. It would me make very happy to own that specific vehicle, but unfortunately my situation will not allow for a new car at this time.

Hope your daughter comes through Irene without regrets for hanging around.

Lovely car, but also a good illustration of not paying overmuch attention to advertising. The engine is a "3.6L 6" huh? Not if it's a GTS (and it obviously is) unless I overlooked a change in the product line.

After living with may Rivi Blue 997 with aero kit cup, the non aero car looks naked to my eye. Something's amiss.
I know most of you guys aren't aero fans and that's OK. I'm just sayin' how the pics strike me.
What do you guy's think of the black vs. silver wheels on a Riviera blue 997?

Definitely black wheels for me. Great looking car. I would pass on the aero kit, but not steering wheel controls, ventilated (leather) seats and painted center consol...
