Default Hope everyone on the east coast stays safe

This looks like a big storm. Just hope we have over-prepared and it's nothing in the end. Wish everyone on the east coast well.

Current track puts the center about 1 mile west of my house tomorrow at 2.

I'm in Raleigh which is about 150 miles west of where the hurricane made landfall. So far, not too bad for us, but much worse along the coast. Lots of power outages, downed trees blocking roads, and some flooding.

My daughter and her three boys and husband are here from Old Greenwich,Conn. and are probably starting home tomorrow... Still no electric but no water in the house even with the sump pumps not working..
They'll have to throw everything out in the freezer and fridge. They dodged a bullet as did the east coast on this one.
