New to the Club but not to the Forum
Hello all,
Long time lurker/fan, occasional poster, and brand new owner of a 2008 Speed Yellow C2S. Picked up from a fellow rennlister - for history see this thread:
https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...st-08-cs2.html
The car is in flawless condition and a pure joy to drive (but look who I am telling). Picked her up on August 5, 2011, driven 2100 miles back to Texas over 6 days - averaged 23.2 MPG with some city driving in California, Vegas and New Mexico. I gave her a quick vacuum and wash upon arrival, but have not given her a proper detailing(please forgive me TCC1999, aka Tim).
Air filter has been changed (thanks to the forum, especially Edgy for the great advice). Oil change and cabin filter are scheduled for this weekend - along with a proper detailing. Pictures below do not do her justice.......

No, actually the pictures DO do it justice.
It's a beautiful car. Speed Yellow is a great choice.
Congratulations...we're all very lucky people.

Thanks for all the comments guys....
TxBob74 - it was 60ish in San Francisco/Oakland upon arrival and cool through Yosemite. From Vegas to Houston it was pretty much 100F + the rest of the way.
The car did exceptionally well on the 9-10 hour jaunts and only required about 1/2 of a quart of oil over the entire trip - once I got into Texas.
I need to get the car tinted - I have a few leads, but don't want to drive half way across town if its not necessary - Clear lake area.

Mark, great car and congrats. I'm still very jealous that I didn't buy the car from Tim myself, especially the car was practtically in my own back yard (15 miles away). But glad it found a great new home. Enjoy it like I know you will.
Ren (still hunting for my first pcar).

Exceptionally nice!!! But there's no one on this forum that can possibly be more biased than me. Not once did it ever let me down. Extremely happy that it has a good home and will be well cared for.
