Default New owner, share photos right off the lot!

Hi everyone... took delivery of 997.2/S late March, thought I'd sign up here and share.
One question:
I see that some cars have a second cushion for the rear seat backs. Where can one get these?
Also anyone upgraded to MF steering on PDK and should I even bother. One option I wish I had.

Second cushion? The back seats have a bottom cushion (attached w/ velcro) and a flippable back seat. What else do you mean?

Enjoy your car!

The Panamera has them. Go take a test drive and take a few cushions home.

Enjoy your pcar in good health.

That's a good looking car. It looks even better when you get it on the road. Enjoy it. You've obviously earned it. Congrats!

Are you referring to the Bose subwoofer? It is behind the rear seats on the coupes with that option.

Re: back seat cushion... clarify...
the back seat "backs" that fold down, just below them is just carpet on mine and I noticed on some models, there is another piece that provides support. (the bottom back cushion). Where can one get those?

Welcome, Babakp and congrats on the first p-car! I think you are talking about the secondary back seat cushions that are only available on the cabriolet models.... the ones on the right side in this picture: http://nsa11.casimages.com/img/2009/...1328782747.jpg

... right?

You may be able to find some 3rd party or aftermarket parts maker that could have the secondary set of cushions for 997 Carrera Coupe & Targa models, but I don't think it's possible to extract them from a cab because the upper seat dimensions are different for the cab cars. If you grab the cushions and put them into your C2S, you will probably have some space left either above or below (or both, if you place the cushion in the center-middle of the carpet backing). I'll keep a lookout for a solution and give you an update, but the folks here can already have a fix for this.

EDIT: A quick google search, and I come up to this: http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...-08/817-54.php

Piece #3 seems like what you're probably looking for. I'm not familiar with these prices (whether they are fair or too expensive). Apparently, these are "Genuine Porsche", so they're probably Porsche OEM, but the diagram piece in the image looks different from a center back-seat lumbar-support rest cushion in a cab. Hmmm...

Congrats on the new car. Forget about the cushions, whoever sits in the back won't last long anyway.

Hey Babakp, nice car! Do not forget to check the Rennlist Canada section and to stop by our weekly Saturday morning Porsche Get Together in Toronto: we need more 997.2's. Click on the link below for details

Babakp,

That piece is in the Cabriolet because the seat back is set more upright. Thus it puts your shoulders forward and moves your lower back towards the rear.
