Default Started "LOOKING"

Having just sold my 00 Boxster (manual) I have started looking for a 911 (again), I have owned 2 Boxsters and 6 "older" 911's (74 to 87), a 914 etc...30 year PCA member...here's the story...I can no longer drive a manual, too many knee injuries (skiing, and motorcycle crashes combined with being 76 years old.
I really wanted a 993 (just something about the air cooled sound) but the BOSS says and probably right TOO OLD (luckily she hasn't said that about me)
Since I don't like the 996 front look, and from what I hear the 997 has a vastly improved engine, I'll be looking for an 05 Cab Tiptronic. To make it more difficult I do NOT want BLACK interior (OK WITH BROWN OR GREY) ...NO GREY cars...includes silver also
So that leaves the following colors for the car BLACK, WHITE, DK GREEN, DK BLUE, SPEED YELLOW OR?
I figure somewher in the 40 to 60,000 mile range or slightly higher with PORSCHE OFFICIAL SERVICE AND RECORDS....should be in the $45 to 55,000 range?
How does that sound?
Thanks guys
Daniel (in Fort lauderdale...that's why no BLACK interiors)

I think you should be able to get a lower mileage one for that kind of money.

You can start with autotrader.com, there should be plenty of choices in the $55K range, not so much in the $45K range unless it's high miles with no CPO.

Shoot for an 06 or newer. There were some growing pains with the introduction of the 997 in MY05.

Suggest you start looking on porscheusa.com where you can refine your search for everything down to tranny, interior/exterior color, etc.

Good luck!

Look on this site and 6speedonline for the sales ads as well. Good luck with the search.
