Kinda looks dark purple in the sun at high altitude.

Absolutely beautiful color(s).

A bit-o-purple in some lights?? That turned me away from the old Seal Gray on BMW's of the early and middle decade. In the right/wrong lighting they looked purple, and I can't do that one.

I've never seen purple. It's always distinctly gray, and blue-ish is always within a distinct blue part of the spectrum. Maybe just my eyes, or perhaps Flagstaff isn't high enough altitude for purple?

Ok, enough pictures already! Pretty frustrating that I couldn't get the Spyder in this color.

Glad I'm not the only one seeing a little purple. Thought my cones were needing a 57 year service!

I lucked into my Atlas Gray 911, bought sight-unseen. Love the color as it is rare and does seem to change character depending on the flight. Usually it looks like a very dark charcoal with a hint of blue; for some reason, only my camera flash brings out a slight purple.

While you can see flecks of purple (and silver, red, and gold for that matter), it is not the dominant color by any means.

This is purple....

This is not....

Cobalt blue looks purple sometimes.

Atlas is one of the best colors on modern day Porsches. Classy yet sporty and the many personalities it has under certain light keeps it interesting.

I remember sitting at the Stuttgart dealership across from the factory debating on the color I should choose. I picked Atlas sight-unseen and was a bit worried. When the day arrived to pick it up at the factory i was blown away! Can't go wrong.
