Wind in my ear
#16
it's noisy as heck, but I love it. I turn the stereo off, what's the use? Arm out the window, hand on the wheel, I just love the sound of the engine and the feel of the road. If you want quiet, buy a Lexus...

I just made an observation. It is windy, and I can't move my neck, but I love every second.
Btw, I found a solution, I put the window up 1/8", and the wind just bounces of the top of my earlobe

Windows up and AC on for 95% of normal driving. There's only about 2 weeks a year in NYC where it's not sweaty or icy anyway. I know that's probably not the solution you were looking for.
...and it uses less fuel than windows open in most admittedly not totally scientific tests.

My wife's X3 is so crazy noise when the sun roof is open making the 911 cab 'nice and quiet' even with the top down.
Not good for ears for sure in the long run and i friend of mine use ear pugs that he got from an indy race.

I love it. I keep the sunroof closed as it is windier with it open, with the windows down, than with it closed. I too love the sound of the engine and find that radio much much less interesting. Perhaps a cab is my next car. We'll see...
