Thanks for the response on the deal. Those red gauges do look quite stunning. I would not have thought I would have liked them based on an order sheet, but they look great in the pics. If I order one to spec in the future, that's what I will be going for. Enjoy your beautiful new toy!
Couple of more pics. I wouldn't have ordered some of the options, like nav or the red gauges or sport chrono, but they are starting to grow on me. I do love the sport suspension and the nav is nice. Lots of content and at my level they sure won't slow me down. I do like the standard wheels after having had and been through the recent drama of the C/L wheels.

Sorry, I pre-traded it to secure my trade value. It sucked being without a Porsche for a while, but it made me appreciate how truly special these cars are. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Didn't completely answer your question. I purchased the car on July 30, 2009, my birthday. Owned it for 23 months and put 14K miles on it including several track days and AutoX. Got the GTS on my birthday as well. Told the wife this should start a new family tradition every two years.

Love it in black! But I'm partial: GTSs are like civilized GT3s for the street.
I got a 2011 GTS in black. Mine has red interior but black gauges with the aero cup package. That's one thing that makes Porches special. No two are a like.
Good luck with it.
