Not sure if this helps anyone here, but advanced auto parts has the stuff in great supply in Houston area and for a great deal - I have no affiliation with Advanced Auto Parts... See link(yes I am aware it says "Edge", but its the correct picture and I got the stuff in-store and its the A40 approved Syntec) - I just picked up 15qts(for me) and 3 filters (for my wife's car). They had both Syntec and Edge - they seemed unaware that Syntec would be replaced by Edge.

Wow Mobil 1 has 1100ppm ZDDP. That's pretty good. Wish they sold a 5w-40 here.
I think Castrol GTX Dino used to have 1100 but they reduced it due to CAT issues.

I think that the M1 0W40 is OK. There's a reason why they call it European Formula.
