Dropped the P off today for the replacement of the spoiler. They gave me a new 2011 Cayenne as a loaner. If the center console is anything representative of what the new Carrera is going to be? Just too many switches and buttons. You would need a week to familiarize with eveything to prevent an accident.

I have an '11 Cayenne S. It took a session in the car with the owners manual but now everything is second nature, and actually quite logically arranged. FWIW, from the pics I've seen, the 991 console is much narrower and will be less button-dense.

I like all the buttons on the C and P. Much more so than an i-drive type setup. once you know where the buttons are, most used buttons can be found without even looking. not so with a mouse-type driven system.

If you're talking about the Cayenne, there are no seat adjustment buttons on the center console. They are alongside the seat cushion where they belong. You may have seen pictograms of seats on the console but they are for the seat heating and cooling functions.

Thanks! I like everything else about this vehicle and would consider when my Q7 hits the mark. This version seems a lot tighter than the prior model. At first I thought I was in a BMW but as stated the ergonomics are far superior and in the correct locations.
