not many tire options w/20" wheels @ 325 would be my guess - correct?

nice wheels too (and blk lug caps - which I need to get)

Nope, not that much, if you want to go 325 in the rear, you have 3 choices, Pirelli's Pzero like mzn has, Michellin PS2 (which I have), Continental Extreme Contact, and the Dunlop Sport Maxx GT. 19"s the way to go.

I finally got to wash it.. compared to all my past black cars and other C2S and Boxster we have.. this is unconditionally the easiest car ive washed .. no streaks.. no wash rings..or soap stains..

Washed and shammy'ed .. next time Ill try drip drying it and see what I get..

I think Im gonna be happy with the maintenance for once on a black car

Matt
I don't know about this. From everything I have heard from those who have had it, matte paint is a magnitude of order HARDER to maintain than regular black paint, and there is no waxing (no protection), no polishing and fixing of scuffs or touchup. bird stains and sap/pollen must be removed immediately. Sure on a primer type job, that's easy, just respray a bad spot, but a quality matte paint job, its very very hard to maintain.

Congrats! Enjoy in good health.

I spoke to one of the Pfaff Tuning guys back in the spring of 2010, when your car was on display at the PCA UCR Social event. (It was the centre of attention alright) If I recall correctly, that paint is manufactured in Germany, is applied in stages and does have a matte clear coat that does provide some protection against the elements. However, as most waxes create a glossy finish, this clear coat cannot be waxed (not because there isn't one). Though matte paints are generally more fragile, this particular car has one of the best available. Cost? Around $8K, I think.

And, YES, it sounds sick.

I love the way this car looks. I would love to understand how the paint lasts and how easy it is to take care of.

Wow. I have a Black 997.2 4S, but I am jealous!

Mark.

I like it, I have a black C4S that I'm going to make stealth, just ordered black grille intakes as my first mod. Those headlight trims are Werks or Techart? I couldn't find any info on the Sharkwerks website.

Mav,

"Werks" does not refer to Sharkwerks. It is short for Werks1, a division of Champion Motorsports.

Ah...there's my problem. Still can't find the headlight trim even on Champion's site, though.

I think CJ's CGT is a wrap (IIRC)

Matt - do you have just the Tubi exhaust, or do you have the Tubi headers too (looking for a noise upgrade)
