I've owned my cab for 2 + years and have had the wind deflector installed in the upright position the entire time. Today, I decided I wanted more wind to run through the remaining hair that I have so I tried to fold it down and it doesn't seem to want to fold down without breaking it. In my BMW, I just reach back and am able to fold down the wind deflector with one hand. I have done an exhaustive search on the forum and cannot find any info on this. Can it fold down while it is still installed in the car ?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

what you;re feeling is normal...it takes a bit of a shove to get it to move. When I leave it in the installed position, I frequently push it down when I put the top back up to gain a little better rear window view.

The wind deflector has clearance problems with the seats placed all the way back or reclined. It is essentially unusable for taller drivers with long legs. PCNA has never acknowledged this design blunder and no corrections to the design have ever been implemented, even though they have been informed of the design mistakes years ago.
