Default mobil 1 sticker

anybody know where i could get the "mobil 1 oil recommended" sticker that is on the wing mechanism in the engine compartment. dealer just replaced thw wing mechanism and there is no sticker on the original part. It just seems funny that the sticker is not there and looks unoriginal. I think i want it back. Just so everything looks original.

Contact Mobil 1. They are more than happy to provide a wide variety of their stickers!

The sticker has a Porsche part number (997 006 554 00). You should be able to order it from any dealer.

Definitely agree. I switched my decklid out for a GT3 decklid and searched for that Mobil1 sticker and found one on ebay just to keep the inside looking factory original when opening the decklid up at meets etc.

Having the proper engine compartment stickers is a pretty big deal when restoring an older Porsche. Might as well equip your newer car with the right ones too.

Resurecting an old thread - I just noticed that my 997 w/ aerokit doesn't have the sticker. Not surprising, since the PO swapped the original decklid for the aerokit one..

Could someone take a pic of the proper location where the sticker should go?

Thanks!

I think I've seen it on Suncoast Porsche Parts site.
